How Can We Help?

The mission of the Evaluation Center@HSRI is to provide technical assistance to mental health system stakeholders including, but not limited to states, providers, consumers, and evaluators for improving the planning, implementation, and operation of adult mental health services. Consultations

Do you need technical assistance with a study design, evaluation methodologies, statistical analyses or any other aspect of evaluation design and implementation? If so, contact the Consultation Program. Program staff will provide you with individually tailored technical assistance on projects related to the evaluation of adult mental health systems change. Consultations are subsidized by SAMHSA and all information is provided free of charge. Learn more >>

Conferences

Would you like to know more about events in which issues related to evaluation research are discussed? We attend various conferences around the country where we present evaluation research findings or participate in panel discussions. Learn more >>

Multicultural

The Multicultural Issues in Evaluation Program is one of the Evaluation Center's most multifaceted programs. This program is designed to provide technical assistance by responding to consultations, tracking conferences, and producing materials to assist with multicultural issues in evaluation. Toolkits & Materials

TEC produces briefings, reviews of new instruments, methodologies, and software, all of which can be found in the Toolkits and Materials section. Most of the materials developed by TEC can be downloaded free of charge. Use the search box located on the right side of the Toolkits and Materials homepage to locate items using a simple text search (e.g. Outcomes and Methodology).

e-Community

Would you like to communicate with others about the evaluation of mental health services? The Center maintains listservs that cover specific topics of interest with associated bulletin boards/chat rooms to foster information exchange. Evidence-based Practice

Are you concerned about what services you should use, provide or promote? Do you want to know more about which services are proven to be safe and effective?
