Shekinah Elmore

Research Assistant

Shekinah Elmore, B.A., is a Research Assistant at the Evaluation Center@HSRI, working primarily on the Center’s Multi-Cultural and Evidence-Based Practice programs. In her short tenure at TEC, Ms. Elmore has led the data entry and analysis of the newest phase of the Cultural Acceptability of Treatment Survey (CATS) and worked on redesigning the survey to make it more informative for those planning and implementing culturally competent care. She has also been a key part of the Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) program, designing the HSRI Evidence-Grading System Library and evaluating other evidence-grading systems for the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) sponsored paper Making the Grade: A Review and Comparison of Selected Evidence Grading Systems. Ms. Elmore graduated from Brown University, where she earned a bachelor of arts in Biology & Community Health
